Search engine marketing, or SEM, is a form of Internet marketing that seeks to promote websites by increasing their visibility in search engine result pages (SERPs). According to the Search Engine Marketing Professionals Organization, SEM methods include: search engine optimization (or SEO), paid placement, and paid inclusion.
Internet marketing, is also known as emarketing or online marketing. It is the marketing of products or services over the Internet. Internet marketing methods include search engine marketing (SEM), e-mail marketing, affiliate marketing, display advertising, interactive advertising and also Social Media Marketing such as blog marketing, and viral marketing.
